Pink Mocha Records was born in the back corner of a rain-slicked café in East London, where a group of producers and musicians spent their nights debating the future of the local scene over endless cups of coffee. The name actually came from a happy accident: a barista’s experimental "pink" beet-infused mocha that sat on the table while the founders sketched out their first contract on a paper napkin. Inspired by that unexpected blend of earthy grit and bright, vibrant color, they realized the city’s underground music scene needed a home that felt exactly like that—bold, warm, and slightly unconventional. Starting as a DIY operation out of a converted warehouse in Hackney, the label quickly gained a reputation for hosting "Late Night Lattes" listening parties that showcased the neighborhood’s best-kept secrets. What began as a small collective of London creatives has since grown into a global platform, but the soul of the label remains rooted in those early days of London hustle. We still carry that original energy in everything we do, proving that the best ideas often start with a little bit of caffeine and a lot of ambition.
